My husband and would like to go to the Le Mans THIS YEAR from June 11-the 14th. Are we too late? Any suggestions such as where to stay out side Le Mans that is easily accessable to the race.

I'd love to help but your best bet is to contact the tourist office at Le Mans or further afield - we are 40km north (25 miles) near Alençon, and get booked up 12 months ahead!

Where to stay? A tent is your best bet, or in your car, if you can get within 5 miles. Forget hotels. They have been booked for years in advance. Think of it as a challenge! :-)

I got a hotel since last posting. In Le Mans- could it be the economy or should I second guess the confirmation? Any suggestions on getting tickets?
