I am searching everywhere to see what requirements are needed for Travel to Switzerland, I have an USA green card and a South African Passport, and we want to spend a few days in Switzerland then get a car and drive to austria & Germany but i am not sure whether i need a visa ???? I will be leaving out of Switzerland also, by car would we go through border partol ? normally we fly everywhere with my stupid Visas, but we pay so much for flights and never see much, so the past few years we have decided we will rent cras and see Europe that way,so in the meantime , until i get US Citenzenship, this is my headache.Hopefully you can assist me.

Go to the Swiss Embassy website or the S.African and ask them. They should have that listed and tell you what you need to do. If you have been using a travel agent, they should be able to help you find that information too.
