We are planning a trip to Portugal and Spain for Spring 2013. We will arrive to Lisbon and visit Fatima. From there we want to go to Andalucia. Is bus travel the best way to go?
'Is bus travel the best way to go?' - What do want from best? Presuming you have the bus detail Lisbon to Fatima and return, flights from Lisbon to Seville, Granada and Malaga are likely quickest. Bus is a twelve hours odd journey direct from Fatima to Seville with www.alsa.es/portal/site/Alsa
I am in Andalucia now, for 3 months, staying in centrally-located Antequera, from where the buses to everywhere else in Andalucia are inexpensive, clean, frequent and reliable. I have also taken the train several times. I would fly into Andalucia, then bus/train around. On the bus, I see a lot more of the country I'm traveling in -- not to mention being shoulder-to-shoulder with the people who live here! If we had buses and service in Los Angeles like this, I'd sell my car!
