Wife and I are looking to spend 2 weeks between London and France, majority of the time in Paris, hopfully Provence. Should we just stick to France and leave London for another time? Have been told we will likely be rushed otherwise. Any help would be great. Thank you!
Susan&Mike...thanks so much! London is more of a self induced obligation...have a friend that lives in the city. Could probably get away with a day trip on the Chunnel to satisfy that and leave England to another trip...thanks again!
I would narrow it down just a bit. You can do London & Paris in 2 weeks w/o feeling too rushed.
Or narrow your trip to either Engalnd or France.
I have taken two trips to London - the first time I stayed 9 days with my daughter and the second time was 7 days with my husband. I still haven't seen everything there is in London. There are some areas near London that are wonderful to visit: Bath, Cotswolds, Cornwall, etc. So you could combine some English Countryside with a week in London.
Or focus on France. You can easily spend a week in Paris with a couple of good daytrips and then head to Provence for the balance of your time.
You'll have a great time no matter what you choose!
