2 nights in Zurich before going to Italy

We are landing in Zurich and taking the Cisalpino train to Domodossola.

I need a good inexpensive hotel in Zurich for 2 nights where we can overcome jet-lag and see some sights before we continue.

Any suggestions?

FYI, The Cisalpino schedules that I see show that the Cisalpino runs south out of Zurich don't stop at Dommodosola. What I do see is an IC train that goes from Zurich to Bern where you change to a Cisalpino train that does stop at Dommodosola. Note also that if you desire to be on the very fast Cisalpino "tilting" train, you want either the #51 (07:35), #57 (13:35) or the #59 (18:35) out of Bern. The other Cisalpino trains are EuroCity trains. The EC trains are fast but they are not the faster tilting trains.
