We are landing in Zurich on a Sunday morning. We need to determine a quick itinerary for Sunday, and Monday nights. We are going to Paris for Wed-Friday. What cities would you go to in Switzerland/Italy and if we really want to see some of Italy, would that even be doable? Maybe fly from Venice to Paris? Any ideas?

Lisa, I am afraid your question isn't clear. You land in Zürich on Sunday and have to be in Paris on Wednesday, and want to go to Venice in between? In that case, I'd go straight to Venice and have 3 nights there, then fly to Paris. If travel to Venice after a long overseas flight seems like too much, you could go from Zürich airport to Luzern in an hour, and spend your first day and night there. The next day head to VEnice (via Milan) but then you'd only have 2 nights there. And if you really want only one night in Venice, you could do one night each in Luzern, Verona, and Venice.. but I think you are shortchanging Venice.

Thanks so much for your information. I want to rest and enjoy after such a long trip there. Lucerne sounds good. Can you recommend a place to stay in Venice and possibly Paris?
