My 11-year old daughter and I will be driving from the Loire Valley to Murren, Switzerland in June. We have 2 nights to stay somewhere enroute. Any suggestions?

Colmar is a little out of the way. I would recommend either Dijon or Besancon. I've never been to Beaune, so can't say anything about it. Distance wise, all three of these would make a good half-way point.
