My wife and I will be in San Sebastian (2nights) and Barcelona (3 nights) in late September. If anyone has any suggestions about San Sebastian in particular (not much reading material concerning the city) it would be helpful. I know that the big festival is taking place in Barcelona while we are there...has anyone been during this time? Thanks, Hunter

Are you referring to La Merce festival in Barcelona? I arrived there last year on the last day of the festival. What specifically do you want to know?

I hope you have your hotel reservations for Barcelona. They are tight during la Merce.

RE: San sebastian ....where to eat, what to see, things to do...complete newbie to Spain. RE: Barcelona - where are good places to view parades, festivities...etc... We already have hotels booked Hotel Niza in San Sebastian and H10 Raco del Pi in Barcelona
