1st anniversary in Paris

Hi there. My husband and I are taking a belated honeymoon through Europe in Sept 2013. We are spending our first wedding anniversary in Paris. I am trying to find a nice restaurant with a romantic atmosphere/view to celebrate. Please help!

Hey everyone! Thanks for the responses so far. I've heard hit & miss reviews about dining in the Eiffel Tower - LOVE the links from Thomas re: lesombres and cieldeparis - both look beautiful, with amazing views :)

Here are a few thoughts, 1)hotel Meurice has a honeymoon suite w/balcony, then eat in their restuarant, pricy but ......2)the rest. On second level of Eiffel Tower, 3)Have not personally done this ,but supposedly there is a rest. Atop the Montparnasse Tower; have been curious if any of our posters have ever eaten there. And of course.......a picnic with food picked up near-by in the Park near The Eiffel Tower.

Jules Verne Restaurant on second level of Eiffel Tower. Two Michelin stars, unparalled view, $$$$, and of course reservations required. Check Eiffel Tower website for reservations, menu and prices.

Go with the Eiffel tower. The restaurant is terrific and the view cannot be beat. And would could be more symbolic of Paris than the Eiffel Tower?

The rest. That Thomas dreams about is the one atop Montparnasse Tower, but...has been closed since last April for renovations. They may have completed them, you would need to check.

Had I not already broken the bank on this trip we would be dining at the Eiffel Tower! I guess its a bucket list kind of thing for me - oh well - a reason to return! Instead this trip we will visit the Champagne Bar on the ET and toast. If you can can squeeze a $400 - 500 dinner in your budget - do it!

Thomas, thanks for potting the link to Ciel de Paris. I have the most incredible picture of Paris at twilight that I use for my screensaver and now I know where the picture was taken from! Will have to take my own when we are there in July.
