Has anyone visited Jospehine's chateau, Malmaison? If so, how long did it take to reach from central Paris?

Yes, I have been a couple of times. To get there you must go to La Defense, by bus or Metro, and then take Bus No. 258. The bus ride is about, I guess, 15 or 20 minutes. Ask the driver for the Chateau stop. At the end of a pleasant allée, maybe a 10 minute walk, is the Chateau de Malmaison. Well worth the journey and we had the Chateau almost all to ourselves on both visits. I guess the total time, including the walk up to the Chateau was about an hour. There is a decent restaurant right near where the bus stops.
