We are planning a trip to France in October. We've done Paris several times, but want to stay in Amboise and visit the castles of the Loire Valley. Is there any sort of public transportation in Amboise? We are having trouble finding three twin rooms available in most places. A mill looks great but we aren't sure of taxis or other transportation.
Does anyone else know about this?

The Loire Valley is best seen by car or cycle (bi or otherwise)...if there are six of you, it would be much less expensive to rent a van...don't worry about the driving...it's pretty relaxed in the SW of France.
