We will arrive in Salzburg by train for an overnight before an early morning departure the next day to Seville Spain by air. Do you have a hotel recommendation that would be convenient to the train station or airport?

I didnt go with this for my 2 night stay for our group of 4 but thought hard about it. This place is on the other end of the price spectrum and is very close to the station. It's recommended by Rick ("somewhat sterile but very clean historic building"). Super cheap for this area.

Bev, I stayed at www.hotel-goldenekrone.com/hotel/e_willkommen_fr.htm on a visit to Austria several weeks ago, and would certainly recommend it. It's reasonably close to the station, but I'd recommend using a Taxi rather than walking. Check Rick's book for more details.
