18 Days In Europe

Hey all,

Flying Into Gatwick and going home from frankfurt. I've been to europe once and strictly used trains, however we're going to use some low cost airlines this time around.

Here's the skinny:
London-->Madrid--->Rome/Florence/Pisa--->Interlaken--->Heidelberg---->Frankfurt

Is Strasbourg worth seeing? The only overnight train we're taking is the Florence to Interlaken. Any tips?

Is it worth it to buy a railpass? Our trains will be between Florence and Rome, the Florence to Interlaken (connecting in Spiez) and Interlaken to Heidelberg, and Heidelberg to Frankfurt.
