15th Birthday dinner in Paris

Any suggestions for a special dinner for my teenaged daughter who will turn 15 on July 3 while we are spending a week in Paris. Something in the 75-100 Euros a head range (before wine). I like the idea of a view restaurant and I am considering Cafe l'Homme overlooking the Eiffel Tower or George atop the Musee Pompidou. Unfortunately, the Jules Verne and La Tour d'Argent are way out of our price range. We are staying in the Marais. Thanks Jeanette

I have not been to George, but I've seen it and I think a teenager would enjoy the location.

Jeannette, George at Musee Pompidou was ok. I was not impressed with the food. If you do decide to dine there, I would sit inside. I didn't realize how windy it was, and spend more time holding things down.

Perhaps ask your daughter what she would like or, try http://www.zagat.com/paris.

Good luck...

Le Guide Michelin (Big Red) has been rating restaurants for the French for about a hundred years now. The Michelin Red Guide service is now available online click here & look for the tab at the top with the word "Restaurant" in it
