Hi I am thinking of going to Portugal just for 4 or 5 days any suggestions? I know it is short but the only time I can go. Sometime in early May

Lisbon and the hill towns north of Evora with five days. Lisbon and Sintra with just four. Lisbon gets two plus the arrival day in any case.

May can be excellent. Be sure to include consideration of the Gulbenkian Museum - it is quite unique.

Since you will only be there for 4 or 5 days and not until May, I would suggest you get a copy of RS Portugal Guide Book or his Lisbon book if you are only staying in Lisbon. You want to get as much good information as possible to maximize you time on the ground there. I did enjoy Portugal very much and would return when time allows. Happy travels.
