What is closed for the holiday? All museums? Trying to plan out my time. thanks!!

Well I just googled and checked both the Orsay and Louvre are open that day.. do you have a specific site you are interested in seeing that day,, just look on the sites.. Seems there are three main days that places close, Dec. 25, Jan1 and May 1st,, but as I said, check for specific sites.

Not much, if anything, tourist related will be closed. If you're planning on taking a train somewhere, it will be on the holiday schedule. More seems to be closed for All Saints on Nov. 1st than for Armistice on the 11th.
