Starting to give some thought to our trip to France in late October. We will be in Paris for 3 days then south to Provence and Nice for 9 days. How cool would late October be? We fly home from Nice Nov. 1st. What to pack-trying to travel as light as possible. Carry on luggage only. Thanks for any suggestions!

Layers..... A light sweater and a light coat (suggest one that is water repellant) w the addition of a stylish hat. Go have a great time as regardless of the weather you are visiting wonderful places. Be sure and take the time to create memories of engaging strangers. Safe travels

If you go to the Tours section of this web site, then click on France, then click on Paris & the South of France, you will get a screen related to that tour that has a weather option listed in the lower right hand corner. Click on that weather option and it will show you the average weather for the entire year for that area.
