Greetings! I am in need of a nice/inexpensive hotel near the airport for my last night in Spain. I will be arriving in Madrid sometime in the afternoon/evening from Seville. Free Shuttle service a plus for our next-day departure. Breakfast: deal? no deal? There are so many mixed reviews on Tripadvisor...
Any input will be appreciated.

A few years ago, we stayed at the Axor Barajas. It's modern, clean, very pleasant, and very inexpensive. They run a shuttle bus to the airport every half hour. There are actually two Axor hotels next to each other. The second one, the Axor Feria, is a little more expensive, but not outlandishly so. It has a restaurant where we had a quite decent meal, at a reasonable price. I can't remember whether breakfast was included. If I needed an airport hotel in Madrid again, I'd stay at one or the other.
