We will be heading to France in a few weeks and was wondering if we can purchase a museum pass and metro/bus pass at CDG airport?

You can definitely purchase transport passes at CDG at the RER station , you can also get carnet of tickets at the Tourist Info site, sorry can't remember if they sold Museum passes there, we got ours at the Cluny Museum on our first day. Keep in mind, metro/bus passes are not always a fit for your dates, they are valid mon-sun so if you arrive after wed there is no point in getting one, just pick up a carnet of tickets instead ( ten one way tickets good for bus or metro, sold at a discount to buying them singly, 10 for 13 euros)

You can get Museum Passes, RER tickets, Metro carnets, Paris Visite Pass at the CDG TI booths. If you are looking for the Navigo pass (Mon to Sun), you have to get that the TGV station ticket desk, you need to have your 1" by 1.25" passport type photo with you.
