Hello- My husband and I will be travelling to Paris and Barcelona for the first time. Can anyone give me the names of reliable car services from the airport in both cities to our hotels? Having never been there, we are a bit uncomfortable about taking public transportation or a regular taxi without knowing anything about them. Thank you-

I can't offer any car service names and if no one else replies you can ask your hotels to arrange pick-ups for you. The "Taxi Parisien" cabs outside CDG (Paris) are perfectly reliable and a trip to your hotel, barring traffic problems. would run abut €50. (Have some euros with you or get some at an ATM in the airport.) Can't help with Barcelona.

I used Paris Black Cars last fall and was very pleased. Our flight was about an hour late, but the driver was still there waiting for us. I think I paid about $50 for the trip but not certain. It was well worth the money to have someone waiting for us and not have to think after the flight..
In Barcelona, our apartment contact arranged for a taxi for us so not much help there. I just looked at Trip Advisor and they have a lot of reviews for airport transfer companies, so you might want to check them out.
