Please make suggestions for a GPS, for use in auto & walking tour of Northern Spain. Would like to get a unit which will be able to use mapping for both Europe and then on return will be usable in the U.S.

We have a Garmin Nuvi 370 and would shutter to think of driving around Europe without it. Germany, in particular has terribly labeled roadways. Having a GPS gives you incredible freedom to roam and explore without worrying about how to get back to your apartment, hotel, or car! Don't leave home without one--whichever one you get!

I thought Germany was easy compared to Italy. I've heard better things about the TomTom 920 for use in Europe. If you go with something else, be sure to price in the cost of Euro maps which are included in the TomTom.
