Hello- Does anyone have suggestions for an itinerary for 10 days in France? We're going to spend 5 nights (maybe 6) in Paris and then head south towards the Riviera for the last 4 or 5 nights of the trip, tentatively flying home out of Nice. I know we want to spend 2 nights in Nice and then maybe the other 3 somewhere in Provence. Any suggestions?

Five or six nights in Paris is perfect! For Provence you could consider Arles or Avignon. Rick Steves' "Provence and the French Rivera" would be a helpful book for planning your trip!

Will you have a car? If so, I love basing in St. Remy in Provence. It's handy to most of the sights.

If you want to see the chateaus, you could stop in the Loire Valley for a night or two on your way south.
