Any suggestions as to a one day tour of Berlin. I will be there March 16th. I am more interested in World War II history. I am not really interested in bus tours where one can't get off the bus and see the sights. I am 65 years old and am in sub-par health. There are several walking tours, but they don't explain how far of a distance I would need to walk.
Most of the walking tours in Berlin last about 3-4 hours but have a break half-way through. They are easy walks as Berlin is flat, but you should be able to walk 2-3 miles if you want to go on one of these. The alternative is to book a private tour, where the guide can go at a pace that is easier for you. Check on Trip Advisor for websites for the many tours available that specialize in WWII tours, and for private guides. Have a look at "The Berlin Expert" as I think he offers reasonably priced private tours.
