I'm looking for a nice enough, quiet, but not too expensive place to stay in York. Any suggestions?

Lots of places to stay in York, what is "not too expensive"? Give me an idea of what you are looking for - b+b or hotel, how many days, rough dates and what budget and I'll do some digging for you.
Please come to York, its beautiful!
