Wondering about an Earl's Court B&B

My wife and I will be spending five nights in London in July, and I've come across the Maranton House Hotel B&B in Earl's Court. The place looks fine by its website, naturally.

Has anyone stayed here recently? If so, how was your stay? What was the hotel actually like? I'd appreciate candid replies either way. Thanks.

Have you checked on Tripadvisor for comments and reviews of this hotel. I just typed in Earl's Court B&B. There are several hotels listed. I just saw City Continental London Kensington and it looked pretty good. The prices are cheaper than the Maranton but if you aren't set on this hotel, you may want to check some of the others and their prices....Tripadvisor is a good place to check the reviews of any of the hotels you are looking at.

Yes always check www.tripadvisor.com and type in the hotel name.

The reviews on Tripadvisor are decently positive for Maranton.
Have fun in Earls Court! That is where I stay when I go to London. Love the area.
Earls court road and High Street Kensington can keep me busy for most of a day just local near my hotel!

Also consider the Premier Inn, on Cromwell in Earls Court. Great reviews, and they just renovated everything.

Avoid Hotel Earls Court. I have heard horrific things about it and in my Easyhotel I actually heard people checking in at 1 am because they had to check out of Hotel Earls Ct because of bugs, filth and stench! Tripeadvisor reviews second that...
