Has anyone stayed at the Winchester Hotel recently? We have reservations for our family of four in their family room, a double and two singles. Any feedback would be welcome, we are traveling at the end of June 2008.

That is close enough. I would like to know if it was a good value, rooms clean, beds comfortable, etc.... My wife always prefers to stay at a Marriott when we travel in the U.S., and on weekends here they can be a reasonable price, but not in London. The Winchester's writes seem as though it will fit our needs, but I would like other traveler's opinions to confirm that.

We have stayed in the Winchester twice in the last five years. It is a nice hotel. It is our back up hotel when we cannot get into the Lime Tree The rooms are small but most rooms in B&Bs are small. It is not a Merriott but you are not paying Merriott prices eiher. The Victoria Station is our preferred location when staying in London.
