How difficult is it to obtain Grounds tickets to Wimbledon. I don't want to sit on Centre Court, just want to walk around and see the place. Do you need to arrive super early in the morning to wait in queue? Or is it possible to arrive later in the day and still get in?
Everything you need to know can be found here: http://www.wimbledon.com/championships/tickets/obtaining-tickets If you don't want to in line at the grounds in the morning, you can also purchase via Ticketmaster UK the evening before. But you'll need access to a printer for the e-ticket.
The Wimbledon site mentions there are Grounds tickets available. In the first week of play we arrived early afternon after the queue had virtually diasppeared and were able to see some interesting games roaming around the courts. Also toward the end of the day they do make "used" tickets available for the main courts from people who have already left. We also got those but had to stand. Still we did get to see one of the matches we were interested in
