Might partake in this yearly event; http://www.londonopenhouse.org Great way to see venues. Many not often open to the public. The night hike is something to behold. So if any travelers are in London Sept 22 and 23, enjoy.
Thanks for posting this, Claudia. I'll be in London this weekend and am meeting a friend, so I'll tell her about this.
That's a good one Claudia. I'll be there this weekend as we usually go, and {{shame}} didn't think to post the lead. There is an App which is less expensive than the printed guide but we use the free website. Be sure to click on places of interest to see time restrictions and any which are closed to walk-ups. There have been years where reservations had to be made for several popular or small or very short hours locations but this year, for the first time, there was a ballot or lottery system for those locations. Be aware that the ballots have now closed. The walks of the Square Mile, especially the ones around the various churches, which originate from the Guildhall are most excellent, led by proper Blue Badge Guides and are free.
