I thought London Walks was extraordinary. I did the walk of Westminster and if all the other walks are as good as that one, I'm going to do more of them the next time I'm in London. Guide was wonderfully informative and interesting as well as a delightful person. It made London come alive in a way it wouldn't have for me if I'd just been wandering around town on my own (not that there's anything wrong with wandering at times).

The Original London Walks is the only one I've ever taken. I first took one of their walks in the early 1990's and I've taken so many I've lost count. I never had a bad experience. Just the opposite, I thought each was worth every penny...I did the Inns of the Court but it was a very long time ago. I remember the woman giving the walk had actually worked as a barrister and ran into friends of hers while giving the walk.

I did around 8 different London Walks, enjoyed all but 1-2... Notting Hill one, the guy was a jerk, couldn't hear him most of the time, and the walk was dull. Otherwise, the guides were all great, dynamic, and with a passion for their topic. I even did the day trip to Bath, again, was great. Best London Walk? Changing of the Guard with a real guard. One I wish I'd taken? Beachcombing on the Thames, wasn't offered while I was there.

Last time in London we did several walks with London Walks. All were enjoyable and interesting. One thing we benefited from was the guides sharing thoughts about things to do outside the tour, Such as, were and when to go to see the Horseguards leave their quarters on their way to the changing ground. Got some great photos and it's not something everyone gets to see. Ask your guide about those kind of things, if they do not offer. Enjoy
