I have an option to stop off for 2 days on my way back home in any of these 4 countries - which one would you recommend? I will be there first 2 days of August. Right now I am leaning towards Copenhagen - any suggestions?

You should also consider Stockholm. It is a very beautiful city with a fantastic old town. I like it better than Copenhagen, though I enjoyed Copenhagen as well.

Copenhagen is a nice city. But Oslo is my favorite. Lots to do and see and absolutely beautiful!!!

I've never been to Oslo, but Copenhagen and Stockholm are both wonderful and you could easily spend that much time in either place. I do think Stockholm is more beautiful, but both places have great sites.

I would choose Oslo because I find the Norwegian people the most engaging.

Simran - If the choice is the countries as a whole I would go to Norway and do the Norway in a Nutshell if you haven't seen the fjords.
That said in a choice between Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm. I would choose Stockholm. I have not done Copenhagen, but I found much more to do in Stockholm then Oslo.
