Hi, we'll be staying in London for 4 days. We stayed at Tara Copthorne at High street last year and love the location and the convenience of being so close to the tube with the stairs not being too steep as we lugged our luggages to catch rain to St Pancras. I noticed that there are other kensington areas. Should we stay at high street again or try other kensington? Thanks
South Kensington area is a great area, you can get the Circle Line and District Line at the South Kensington tube station. You would love the area, it's has a great residential area you can walk in.
Earls Ct is in the same area, just a bit north up Earls Ct Rd off the high st and you'll be in Earls Ct. There are tons of B&Bs and hotels in the area, a full sized Tesco and Earls Ct tube station nearby. It is even a bit cheaper than Kensington itself but just as safe and tons of places to eat, drink and shop on Earls Ct rd, even a post office to mail things from!
