Which is better? Chelsea or Hampton Court Flower Show

A hard one - I love Hampton Court Palace - Henry VIII and palace intrigues and a lovely setting right on the Thames and with large and beautiful grounds. Chelsea is also a lovely setting in the grounds of the Royal Chelsea Hospital designed by Christopher Wren (not really a hospital but a home for retired soldiers). Again lovely grounds and close to the river. Both shows are organized by the Royal Horticultural Society and attract the top professional gardeners in the UK. Overall I think my favourite is the Hampton Court show, just because I love the setting and the Palace and can combine gardens and flowers and a visit to the palace in one trip.

Lesley, Thank you. A friend, who heads a US botanical garden, also told me that Hampton Court seems to be the better show nowadays. I value your opinion. Oh how I would love to attend both, if distance and cost were not such huge factors.
