what neighborhood shows summertime Oslo at it's most fun for a young family of four? (Thinking historic, street scene, music, energy...)
The only neighborhood in Olso I saw that really seemed to have any sort of "historic" feel to it is Frogner. Other than the famous park, though, it's mostly a quiet residential area. It has a very elegant, late 19th century look, but don't look for any kind of "street scene" or "energy" here. Most of the "energy" of the city seemed to concentrate in the area formed by a rough triangle between the Slottsparken, Central Station and the harbor around the Akershus and the Rådhus.
Thanks!
