Where to stay in Bath

My sister and I are planning a trip to England with my mother in June of 2012. We are looking for a self-efficiency rental in Bath for a week, something that is close in town so we can have naps and sister and I can go out in the evening after mom's tucked away in bed. any suggestions? this is my first time posting - thank you

We will be staying at Three Abbey Green in a few weeks a beautiful B&B very close to the Abbey. They also have several self-efficiency apartments across the green at Four Abbey Green you need to check them out.

Last fall we stayed at Three Abbey Green B&B one night and the Abbey View apartment for three nights. The Abbey View apartment is 1 bedroom so it may not work for three of you but it is only a few meters from the B&B. Both were wonderful and in a great location. Marks and Spencer was close to the apartment so it was perfect for groceries. You can walk to shops and enjoy the city.

Kathy, I am a big fan of VRBO. Listing #11871 was as advertised, directly on Pultney Bridge. Beautiful view and in the center of the city. The owners were awesome hosts. My wife and I shared the main bedroom, My teenage daughter took the second bedroom and my teenage son took the loft. It was a wonderful and unique place to stay.

I don't work for them - honest - but I'd go to the Travelodge, preferably the one to the South of the station, which is quieter. (The northern one is above a nightclub, if your mum is deaf that would work fine.) Three can sleep in a room and the costs are low - so you could boom three rooms if you prefer. Bath is lovely and you'll have a great time.

We have used the Best Western Abbey which is in a great location, adjacent to the Abbey and across
the street from the parade grounds and Pultney Bridge.
