Where to stay?

We are planning on visiting our college age daughter in London, who is studying there, and would like to know where to stay with her. We would like something in the 150.00 price range. hotel? bed and breakfast, we will be there a few days and then plan to head to France.

London is a very large place, and has quite a few colleges and universities. It might be good to locate yourselves relatively nearby. Which institution is she studying at? Sometimes, for example UCL, the schools have rooms for rent.
