We are travelinng to Dubline in March for St. Paddy's day and would like to stay either near Trinity College or Christ Church. Need a room for 3 adults. Any good suggestions?

I stayed in a triple 2 years ago and it was comfortable and in a nice neighborhood, just minutes from City Centre by bus or DART (also walkable if you are so inclined).
Rates are good too...
It has a bit of a business hotel vibe, but the history of the building (old Masonic school) and the area mitigated that for me.
YMMV.

Try the Harding Hotel - near Christ Church, nice hotel staff. They have triples. http://www.hardinghotel.ie/index.php

We stayed at the St. Augustine Serviced Apartments that are in easy walking distance to Christ Church and around the corner from the Brazen Head Pub. Starting at 59 euros a night for a one-bedroom apartment (sleeps up to 3), you cannot beat the price. The apartments are brand new, very clean. Supposedly a slightly dodgy area, but we never saw any signs of that during our stay. Granted we also weren't out in the wee hours of the morning... The Brazen Head offers live music every evening and the food isn't bad.
