My flight lands at Heathrow at 9am. We want to spend the day sightseeing in London before we take the train outside of London to where my husband and I are spending the night. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we can leave our bags for the day? Thank you!!
Would you please tell us from what station you'll be taking the train out of London and where you are going to spend the night. There are numerous train stations in London.
Easyhotels have baggage storage, but its 2 GBP per bag. www.easyhotel.com. They are near all the main stations in London.
Take you bags to the railroad station you will be departing from that evening and check them....easy.
just get back to the station early enough to pick them up in plenty of time. Be sure to check the operating hours of the Left Luggage facility.
We leave from Marylebone to go to High Wycombe. I was hoping we could leave our bags at the station but didn't know how to find that out. I'm glad I found this board! Thank you all for your replies.
I did some research and Marylebone Station DOES NOT offer left luggage facilities. So you will have to pick another station.
How are you arriving in London from Heathrow? if you come into Paddington,
you could leave your bags there. Paddington is not that far from Marylebone. Good luck!!!
MaryAnn, thank you so very much! We're coming in on the train from Heathrow, so we can leave them at Paddington as per your suggestion.
The left luggage website for the company that handles it for London's railway stations and airports is www.left-baggage.co.uk/
Thank you Paul! Who knew there'd be a website for that?!?! The internet is a wonderful thing!

I'd add, "Don't leave home without it."
(Most of you remember the American Express ads, right? I'm not dating myself, am I?)
