I am looking into going to the Wonderwool Wales Show in April 2010. I currently live in Aberdeen, Scotland and would most likely fly direct from ABZ to Birmingham, as they are the cheapest flights. The show itself is in Builth Wells, but I am trying to decide if it is worth adding a day at the front end to spend in Birmingham?? We have enjoyed tons of Rick's "little treasures" while enjoying holidays around Europe. So, I was wondering what Birmingham had to offer?? This will actually be an all girls weekends away, leaving our husbands with the kiddos...:)Would love to hear your ideas. Thanks!!!
I spent half a day in Birmingham once when I went to a conference. I did enjoy wandering around. We went and had a gawp at the wonderful Selfridges building

We also had an amazing curry with the biggest naan bread I have ever seen! If I had had the time I would have gone to the highly-regarded art gallery.
