My family and I will be in Killarney Dec25-Dec.30th and we are trying to find things to do during the holidays. We were thinking that we could drive around Killarney National Park on Christmas Day but the Muckross house will be closed to the week. Does anyone have any recommendations for Dec. 26th? This is also a holiday in Ireland.

Check with Corcoran Travel in Killarney to see if they will be doing any of their great day trips then. I went on their tour of the Ring of Kerry and another of the Dingle Peninsula, and both were excellent and well worth the $. I know that they offer other tours as well. Also, you might enjoy taking a long walk or a ride in one of the horse drawn jaunting cars around the huge and beautiful National Park or elsewhere. Contact the Park to find out what parts will be open those days.

I think we will spend Christmas Day in Killarney National park. I hear there is a nice long walk and we could see the Torc waterfall and the ladies view. I hope it is a nice day and not too cold.
