I'm going to the NFL game at Wembley Stadium in a few weeks. I'm just wondering if there are any good pubs near the stadium for us Vikings to have a few pre game pints. Kirk

What is the most convenient depends really on what way you are getting to the stadium and where your seats are. However, although not a recommendagion from personal experience, you might want to try The Green Man, as they host a tail 'gate party' every game. Run by the Colchester Gladiators (an English amateur team). Website at http://www.gbtp.co.uk/

Actually we will be taking the Tube to the game. Our seats are in BK 103, but I don't know much about that the stadium so I'm not sure if that makes much of a difference.

103 is on the north side of the stadium. If arriving by Underground you most likely would arrive at Wembley Park station (the exception is if you are using the Bakerloo line). The north face of the stadium is`straight in front of you at the end of Olympic Way. If you want to go to the bars first you would turn right at the station. There is usually some kind of official tail gate near the stadium. The day before there is a party in Regent Street with the whole road closed off for it. This is now too big for its former location in Trafalgar Sq.
