Hi, I'll be departing Kensington Olympia tube station at about 8:30 AM on a Friday and changing at Earl's Court to get to Heathrow. Will the tube be crowded at that time of the morning (making it difficult to squeeze on with luggage) or should most of the commute traffic be done by then? Thanks Neil
It will probably still be pretty crowded at 8:30, but you should still be able to get on without a problem as long as you don't have a ton of luggage. Move down the platform away from the exits, there will be less people there and that might make it a little easier.
It will be crowded but you'll be travelling against the main flow of travel into London, so the trains themselves shouldn't be too bad.
Crowded, not chaotic. You might have to stand. Cars on either end of the train might be less crowded. Maybe.
