weather in Ireland in late June/early July

Hi! Could anyone tell me the approximate temperatures in Ireland around now? I will be going to Galway, Dingle, Cork and Dublin. Is it really windy and cold?? Any different when I return back at end of July? Thanks a bunch! Appreciate it. Trying to plan clothes...

Forget approximate temperatures as they vary widely. Think layers -- that is the only way to plan. Also think wet -- they do have a lot of "soft weather". If you are wet and windy you will be cold. Ireland is probably one of the most beautiful countries in the world, but the weather rules and it does change often. Layers and good wet weather gear.

Average high temp. for Dublin in July is 65(18 C). The predicted high for the next five days is supposed to be 62*. Try www.wunderground.com and you can find a lot of weather info on several cities in Ireland.

Take a light weight weather proof jacket with a hood. Umbrellas can be a pain because of the wind and the tendency to poke someone in the eye with it.

Living in LA you will probably think it is cold there but being from an area where the temp. regularly exceeds 100* I thought it was great.
