we are a family of seven. How do we prebook tour of the crystal factory at waterford? Grandma lists this at the top of things she wants to do. We are enroute from Killarney to Cashel. Our target date is tues June 5 in the afternoon.RS lists the centre's website, but there is no link to prebook tickets.

I do not recall it being an issue to just show up. Perhaps there may be a wait, but they run a pretty efficient operation. It may be that there is no option to pre-book except for tour groups.

No need to prebook, and I'm not sure they even do that. Plan a visit on a weekday, perhaps, to avoid crowds and waiting time. We just visited on Monday (April 2), and we got right in. The tour itself is about an hour...plan more time to have tea or a meal at the restaurant, and even more time to shop for souvenirs--their gift shop is HUGE! They had a special when we were there--if you spent 200 Euro (approx $280.00 US right now), they gave you free shipping to the US and insurance on your purchase. Enjoy!
