While in London, if I have a choice of one side day trip, do you recommend Warwick, Stratford and Costwold OR Leeds, Dover and Canterbury?

Wow, we liked both of them. Depends on what your personal likes are. However, I would recommend Warwick, Stratford and Cotswold. The castle at Warwick just LOOKS like what you would expect a castle to look like unlike Leeds which is more picturesque/refined. Stratford is a great little walking town full of all things Shakespeare.

You could do Leeds Castle and Canterbury in the same day. It's only 22 miles from Leeds Castle to Canterbury.

Cotswolds, and Warwick most def. make sure you find a tour that lets you walk through a village, not drives through!!!
