Wallander Tours from Ystad, Sweden Worth Doing?

I'm starting now to research a trip for a month in Scandinavia in the summer of 2014 so I can plan an appropriate budget. My husband and I are Wallander nuts and we hope to visit the area of the novels and films. If you have taken any of the tours out of Ystad, I would love to hear your opinion of them. Neither the Ystad Commun website nor TripAdvisor seem to be very helpful for this "review" question.

If you are interested in Kenneth Branagh's Wallander then this website may be of use to you:
www.branaghswallander.com There is a mixture of locations in Ystad and outside if you budget for a rental car. Hope this helps. Ystad is a wonderful place, as is the whole region of Skåne. Regards, Ian.

We have never taken a Wallander tour but we too love Wallander. We did visit Ystad, and it's a wonderful town. I'll be anxious to see what people tell you about the tours.

Although my wife is the real Wallander fan, we both enjoyed our visit to Ystad and the surrounding countryside in 2011. She told me to let you know that there is an iPhone app (free) that is a guide to all the Wallander sites. The name of the app is (not surprisingly) Wallander. We didn't see any need for a tour, particularly if you have a rental car. We have a recommendation for a place to stay near Ystad: Kulturstallet B&B. You would need a rental car, since it's located out in the countryside. It was one of our favorite stops in our Sweden trip.
