I will be spending 3 days in Bath at the end of Sept '08. I have been there once before on a day trip by car from Windsor with a stop at Stonehenge. I was wondering if Cardiff or another city/town in Wales is worth considering from Bath? Thanks

Cardiff is a short, pleasant trip by either rail or car. It's very easy to do a day trip from Bath.
Cardiff is a very vibrant city and very modern in it's 'feel' if you want somewhere a little slower and more picturesque then Monmouth is not far from Bath and is very pretty.
