The Republic of Ireland OPW Heritage Card (21 euro - 16 euro for over 60) is usually a no brainer for a busy tourist. The card is good for a whole year. For you I suggest you do the math to see if it's worthwhile. Newgrange and Knowth are covered. They will almost pay for your card. Dublin Castle tour, Hill of Tara, Boyne Battle Site and Kilmainham Gaol are also covered. You didn't mention Trim Castle but it's covered and I recommend it. One of the nice things the Heritage Card gets you is the ability to go to the front of the line. That really helped us be a 20 minute line to get into the Goal. With the pass, you go around the people taking money and they just mark you down in their pass book.
