I have started to plan my family's trip to Scandinavia for next summer. We will be spending a couple of days doing Norway in a Nutshell. I recently read that a replica Viking town is being built in Gudvangen, to be finished in 2014 or 2015, and that a festival and market is held there for several days each July, with reenactors from many countries, Viking games, foods, etc. It sounds great. Has anyone attended? Is it worth making time for?
