We want to stay overnight or 2 nights in London while home exchanging to Suffolk. I've checked some websites re college housing but has anyone had experience they could report and/or suggestions and recommendations? Thanks. Julia

Suggestion only not a recommendation, as I have never used it, but check out the London School of Economics.

I've used several locations of LSE, and they were all great. Hot free breakfast at Carr-Saunders was a nice start to the day, and the one at Holborn wasn't bad either. Can't beat the location of Northumberland.
