Two practical questions about Oslo?

Two practical questions about Oslo?

  1. I'm visiting Norway for the 2nd time, and I'd like to reuse the same TeleNor Prepay Sim card/number I used last time. I still have it, but it's been about 6 months since I last used it, or topped up. Is it still working? Usually these types of cards don't expire for at least a year. If it works, will I be able to just slide it in my phone again, buy credit, and start sending SMS? To make matters more complicated, the number is registered under a Norwegian name (because a friend of mine insisted she register the number), she said it would take longer to register a foreigner. I hope that doesn't give me problems.

  2. What's the cheapest way to get around Oslo with public transport? Is it the tunnelbanna, or the bus? Perhaps both? What's the name of the pass? Is it the Busflexipass (that gets you the most number of rides for the cheapest price)? How long does it last? I will be in Oslo about 2 weeks, and need to get around almost everyday.

Thanks.

You may be going farther afield than I did, but the only transportation I used in Oslo was the bus/trolley out to see the sculptures, and the boat across to the island. Everything else was within walking distance and so easy, because the center is traffic-free.
